Did you recently lose this plane in the Baltimore area?
ReplyDeleteNow we still have it thanks. This is in Miami, Florida.
ReplyDeletethat's good and bad news then I suppose. I found a crashed model airplane beside my office buildind Friday that appears to be identical to the one in your picture... I pulled it inside for fear some nare-do-well (sp?) would run off with it... I hoped the alpa-numeric ID on the side was unique and I'd be able to find the owner... I suppose I'll hand it over to the local P.D.'s lost and found.
ReplyDeleteAny suggestions for me before I hand it over to the police? I don't know if the device is salvagable, but some of the parts appear to be undamaged.

No the id is the same on all the hobbico nexstars. Some poor shmo is probably looking for it. They cost around $350.00 ready to fly. I would maybe post a photo on a local bulleting board or something similar. Whoever claims it has to have a radio that matches the same frequency channel as the airplane. If you can't find the owner, sell it for parts on ebay and make some $$$. Who knows maybe the owner is looking for a replacement on ebay and sees it... Good luck and thanks for being a good citizen...
