A piece of history will be traveling West Virginia's country roads Wednesday.
US Airways Flight 1549, the Airbus 320 that pilot Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger spashed-landed in the Hudson River will be traveling on a flat bed tractor trailer on the way to its new home at the Carolinas Aviation Museum in Charlotte, N.C.
The plane left Fairmont, WV around 8 a.m. Wednesday morning. It will be traveling on I-79 towards Charleston then get on I-77 south headed towards Virginia. The plane should arrive in Charlotte on Friday.
